I know this post is a little late but with a newborn it is not always easy to find time to blog.  Some weeks it has fallen down on my list of priorities in an effort to spend quality time with Darren, David and our friends and family.  However, I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy and healthy new year that is filled with all good things.

2008 has been a year of change both personally and in the world.  For Darren and I, we decided to have a baby at the beginning of the year and this past November we were blessed with our new addition.  The last two months of the year our lives were turned upside down but in the most incredible way.  We are both completely in love with our son who arrived in this world on November 5th.  For both of us there is nothing more amazing in this world than the feeling we each have when we are holding David close and we feel his heartbeat against ours.  Life doesn’t get better than that!

Before David was born however, we had an amazing 10 months filled with ski trips, great dinners, beach vacations and quality time with our friends.  We want to thank our parents and respective families for all their love and support throughout the year.   We are really excited for 2009 and all the wonderful things the year ahead has in store for us.
