Saturday night a bunch of us ladies mixed and mingled at One Little West 12th Street in a celebration of my best friend Shari’s last few weeks of being single. Her wedding is six weeks away and following tradition her bridal party and close friends gathered for a night out on the town with dinner and drinks and some fun thrown in. Eleven fabulous women descended on this hot Manhattan bar/restaurant/club for some fabulous eats and much needed drinks. We started our evening in the lounge area then moved to our semi-private table in the back corner where we indulged in a bunch of different yummy appetizers . The menu is part tapas and part standard so we mixed up a variety of appetizers and salads before our main dishes. Surprisingly the quality of the food was far better than what I remembered since my last visit and the prices were amazing. We weren’t there for the food though, we were there to celebrate and make Shari ‘blush’ a little. I think we managed to pull that off with a few ‘racy’ gifts from Victoria Secret. We stretched out our dinner and managed to secure our table well passed the turnover to bottle service thanks to Liane’s sharp ‘negotiating’ skills with the host.  Some of the crew needed to depart early but for those that remained we nicknamed our little area ‘cougar corner’ (credit goes to Karen for the name), where we partied like rock stars the rest of the night thanks to the phenomenal service from our waiter who was at our beckon call. A great time was had by all and we can’t wait for the big celebration in February!!!!
