Last night I ventured to the upper west side to cheer Darren and his team on in dodgeball…yes, dodgeball!  Dodgeball has resurfaced again as a huge intramural sport here in New York City.  Thanks to the Dodgeball movie that came out in 2004 the game that was famous in middle school has certainly made a big comeback. Everywhere I turn a league is popping up and I keep hearing more and more people playing and its not just guys, but girls too.   Judging by the number of people that were gathered at the gym tonight, this is definitely huge!  It was a ton of fun to watch everyone play and how much everyone was enjoying themselves.  As Darren points out, its a terrific cardio workout too!  Darren was great out there and I’ll definitely be back in the cheering section rooting him on at his next game.
