Don’t know what to do with all the pictures on your hard drive?  Looking for a great gift for your parents or grandparents?  Well, Darren introduced me to a site called Blurb the other day and I had a few minutes this morning so I took a peek.  What a fabulous find!  Blurb lets you self publish your own photo book, cookbook, portfolios, wedding album and lots of other cool things too.  The best part is that this free software is compatible with both Microsoft Windows as well as Mac and the pricing is very affordable – starting at $12.95 for softcover and $22.95 for hardcover (this includes 20-40 pages).   This is definitely something worth checking out, especially since the holidays will be fast approaching.   Ofoto and other sites have a similiar concept but they are limited just to photos.  Blurb lets you publish a variety of books, even your own novel, not just photo albums.  I am certainly going to give them a try.
